Christmas Collectibles with Railroad ThemesThis section is for unique railroad-related Christmas collectibles from designers such as Thomas Kinkade. We actually had more products when we started the page than we do now, since several products we started out with are are no longer available. The good news is that we keep getting a couple good new products a year to post here each year. However, remember that "limited edition" means "limited edition." So if you see something that really appeals to you, don't wait too long to make your choice. |
Update for April, 2012 - As I write this, I am migrating the BigChristmasTrains.com site from one server to another that will give me a lot more room to provide features that readers have been asking for. Sadly, this hasn't left me much time to update the content on this site, which will have to come later. On this page, it's especially obvious, since everything I had posted in the fall of 2011 has become unavailable. Note that this is also a reminder that manufacturers scaled back on orders in 2008 and 2009 because of the recession. Because of the long lead times for some of the product lines we review, some manufacturers are just now getting merchandise back in the queue. It's also a reminder that when we say something is a limited edition, that really means "limited." Please check back a little closer to Christmas, and we'll probably have some great things listed here. In the meantime, please contact us if you have any questions or are looking for something in particular. We will leave the link to the Hawthorne Village trains below - but hopefully they will have some company on this page by mid-summer. Please check back - Paul |
